Kate Golding for Balzac’s Coffee Roasters

When Diana Olsen, president, founder and CEO of Balzac’s Coffee Roasters approached Kate to create a custom wallpaper design, she was looking for something which captured the essence of her unique coffee shops. Kate found inspiration in a range of special Balzac’s components including a coffee branch with fruit and blossoms, antique coffee biggins, a portafilter in action, sweet little succulents like those seen in the cafes and most importantly her interpretation of Balzac’s ink pot and writing quill. The resulting pattern unites these elements, whilst embracing the palette, vibe and sparkly personality of Balzac’s Coffee Roasters. The design can now be seen as wallpaper in all 14 cafe locations across Ontario; on coffee bean packaging; a line of products and Kate’s favourite application, cladding the Balzac’s coffee delivery trucks.
