Mattachioni

When Carla and David Mattachioni approached Kate to create a custom design for their brand new Gerrard Street East location of Mattachioni they wanted to capture the vibrant essence of their famous Peperoncini. Kate’s design features the Ontario Crimson Red peppers that David Mattachioni pickles himself each year to create the coveted spicy Peperoncini.

Mattachioni is an Italian restaurant and grocer in Toronto with both East and West end locations. They are known for their delicious wood fired pizzas, sourdough breads, sandwiches and Kate’s favourite; the brilliant holiday panettone loaded with dark chocolate and orange peel.
